Chathuri Welgama

Chathuri, “Chat” has been a practicing as a podiatrist in Byford for the last 6 years under Revive Podiatry. While continuing to provide a high standard of treatment to her patients with a gentle touch and friendly caring nature. Chat has completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the University of Western Australia, after finishing her undergraduate degree in Physiology/Pathology, and continued onto consolidating her podiatry career in Bunbury and Southwest WA.

She enjoys working in all aspects of podiatry with special interests in biomechanics, custom orthotic therapy, aged care and paediatrics. She hopes to raise more awareness in the community about what podiatrists can offer. She is also one of a limited number of podiatrists in Australia to obtain her endorsement to prescribe medications on the approved list of Scheduled Medicines for podiatrists.

In her spare time, Chat enjoys travel and exploring different countries and cultures, collecting indoor plants, and running.

Adam Berman

Podiatrist BSc (Curtin)

Adam completed his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) at Curtin University of Technology Western
Australia in 1997. In his time as a student Adam was also awarded the Academic and Clinical
Excellences Prizes for his graduating cohort.

Adam has been working predominantly in private practice covering both an in-depth and broad
aspect of podiatric pathologies including sporting injuries, chronic foot pain, paediatric podiatry,
workplace injury, plantar heel pain and minor surgical procedures. Adam has completed extensive
training in the management of tendon and ligament injuries and enjoys creating personal treatment
programs for those people who are suffering both acute and chronic long term foot pain. Adam has
a special interest in the treatment of ingrowing toenails using both conservative treatment and
minor surgical procedures.

Adam has over 20 years of experience in the field of Podiatry, and has also spent many years as a
part-time lecturer and clinical student supervisor at Curtin University. He is passionate about
providing the best possible foot care and enjoys the rewarding aspect of seeing people improve and
recover from painful foot problems.
